COMMUNITY OF PRACTICE

Learning is a social event – we learn by watching others and, as adults, through our interpersonal interactions. A Community of Practice is a group of learners who self-organize around a learning domain, their Practice, with the specific intent of advancing the knowledge within it by learning together and becoming better Practitioners. Whether your Community of Practice is a wine tasting club, a lunch bunch at work, or on-line network learning happens when you collectively pursue your interests.

This Community of Practice seeks to understand what makes organizations and companies healthy, vibrant, living, and growing. Because all of us have experienced work, the diversity of our Community gives us a lot to talk about. Because corporations and organizations are poised to morph into something greater than what they are today, our topic is timely. And, because the knowledge domain has been historically owned by academics, the need has never been greater. Let’s talk…
